Welcome to the Mission Lane Visa Credit Card Cash Back Program.
Please read and retain these Mission Lane Visa Credit Card Cash Back Program (the “Program”) Terms and Conditions (these “Program Terms and Conditions”). We may amend these Program Terms and Conditions at any time without notice by posting the revised terms and conditions online at www.missionlane.com.
Terms used in these Program Terms and Conditions have the meanings set forth in the Mission Lane Visa Credit Card Agreement unless specifically defined below.
Agreement means Mission Lane Visa Credit Card Agreement.
Account means your Mission Lane Visa Credit Card account with Transportation Alliance Bank, Inc. dba TAB Bank. Your Account is issued by Transportation Alliance Bank, Inc. dba TAB Bank, Ogden, UT, pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc. TAB Bank is the creditor and card issuer.
Card means any Transportation Alliance Bank, Inc. dba TAB Bank card or other device (including your Account number) used to access your Account to obtain credit.
Cash Back means an amount automatically applied as a credit to the Account balance on your periodic statement in accordance with these Program Terms and Conditions.
Good Standing means the Account is not over-limit, not delinquent, not bankrupt, not currently restricted by us, has passed our ability to pay analysis, and is being used in accordance with the Agreement.
Net Qualifying Purchase(s) means the total of all new Qualifying Purchases you make with your Card during a calendar month, minus any credits posted to your Account during the same calendar month for returns, chargebacks, or any other adjustments.
Qualifying Purchase(s) means the dollar amount of purchases of goods or services you make on your Account, including sales tax, rounded up or down, as applicable, to the nearest whole cent. Fees, interest charges, cash advances, purchases of traveler's checks, reloading of prepaid cards or other cash equivalents, and purchases made when your Account is not in Good Standing, are not Qualifying Purchases.
We, Us, and Our mean Transportation Alliance Bank, Inc. dba TAB Bank, who is the issuer and creditor of your Card.
You, Your or Yours mean the applicant for the Account and any other person(s) responsible for complying with the Agreement or these Program Terms and Conditions.
These Program Terms and Conditions give you detailed information about how the Program works. This is a separate and independent agreement from the Agreement; however, the Program is subject to the Arbitration Agreement with Class Action and Jury Trial Waiver section of the Agreement, which is incorporated into these Program Terms and Conditions. In the event of a conflict between the terms of the Agreement and the terms of these Program Terms and Conditions, the Agreement will govern, except these Program Terms and Conditions will govern in any matter relating to the Program.
By using, or permitting others to use, your Card or Account, you’re agreeing to be bound by these Program Terms and Conditions.
Your Account is eligible to earn rewards in the form of Cash Back under the Program while your Account remains open and in Good Standing.
We reserve the right to determine in our sole discretion whether a particular transaction is a Qualifying Purchase. Under the Program, you will earn Cash Back for Net Qualifying Purchases. The amount of Cash Back you will earn for each calendar month will be 1%, 1.5%, or 2%, of the dollar amount of Net Qualifying Purchases posted to the Account during that calendar month. The earning percentage amount applicable to your Account will be disclosed in your specific offer. You will earn Cash Back at the end of each calendar month. Additionally, some merchants may compile purchases and post them at a later date, which may delay your Cash Back for such purchase until the next month.
There is no maximum annual limit on the amount of Cash Back you can earn while your Account meets eligibility requirements.
Qualifying Purchases are multiplied by your Cash Back earning percentage amount to determine the amount of Cash Back earned. For example, if you have a Qualifying Purchase of $98.85, and a 1% Cash Back Program, you will earn $0.99 in Cash Back.
Cash Back is calculated based on Net Qualifying Purchases made during a calendar month. Any Cash Back earned during a calendar month will be applied automatically as a credit to the Account on the second day of the next calendar month. The amount of Cash Back will be shown as a transaction under the “Payments, Adjustments, and Other” section on your periodic statement for the billing cycle that includes the date such Cash Back is credited. Depending on the timing, it may take 1 to 2 billing cycles after a transaction posts to your Account for your Cash Back to credit on your periodic statement. Cash Back may result in a credit balance on your Account. We also may award bonus Cash Back for certain transactions and/or promotions from time to time in our sole discretion (details will be provided with such offers).
Because your Cash Back is calculated based on Net Qualifying Purchases, the amount of Cash Back will be reduced by any merchant credits posted to your Account for returns, chargebacks or any other adjustments. If the amount of the merchant credits posted to your Account in a calendar month exceed the amount of Net Qualifying Purchases you make in that month, you may have a negative Cash Back balance.
We reserve the right to determine the method to disburse any Cash Back balance. We will credit your Account with your Cash Back each month your Account is open and in Good Standing. In some situations, this may result in a credit balance refund.
We will apply your Cash Back to your new Card number if your Card is lost or stolen or if we issue you a new Card number for any other reason. You should notify us if you do not receive any expected Cash Back.
If your Account has a negative Cash Back balance at the end of a calendar month, Cash Back awarded for future Net Qualifying Purchases will be applied to such negative Cash Back balance in subsequent billing cycles until the Cash Back is zero or positive.
You will not earn Cash Back on cash advances, cash-like transactions, illegal transactions, or any transactions made with a lost, canceled, or stolen Card. If a merchant does not provide sufficient transaction detail for us to determine whether the transaction is a Qualifying Purchase, the transaction will not earn Cash Back.
You will not earn Cash Back for any calendar month during which the Account is in “Default” as defined in the Agreement. You will not earn Cash Back if the Account is not in Good Standing at the time when Cash Bank is credited; however, when the Account returns to Good Standing, any prior accrued Cash Back amount will be credited to the Account on the next periodic statement. You will not earn Cash Back in or after any month in which you are otherwise disqualified from participation in the Program pursuant to the Review and Disqualification Section of these Program Terms and Conditions.
Except for the Cash Back credited to your Account and reflected on your periodic statement, Cash Back has no cash or other value and may be used only as described in these Program Terms and Conditions. Cash Back cannot be assigned, transferred, gifted, sold, attached, pledged or bartered under any circumstance, including, without limitation, in case of disability or death, by operation of law, or in connection with a domestic relations or other legal dispute.
No Cash Back will post to your Account if it is closed, the Account goes into “Default” as defined in the Agreement, or you are otherwise disqualified from participation in the Program pursuant to the Review and Disqualification Section of these Program Terms and Conditions, as permitted by applicable law. You will not be entitled to compensation or any other recourse if your Cash Back earnings are forfeited for any reason.
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to disqualify customers from earning Cash Back in the event of fraud, abuse of Program privileges or violation of these Program Terms and Conditions. Such disqualification may be temporary or permanent and may result in the forfeiture of Cash Back.
We may make adjustments to your future Cash Back based on your Account activity. For example, we will decrease your Cash Back balance to correspond with the return of a purchase or Cash Back disbursed by us in error. In certain circumstances, it is possible to have a negative Cash Back balance.
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to suspend or terminate the Program and these Program Terms and Conditions at any time and in compliance with applicable law. Our decisions regarding the Program are final. If the Program is terminated, we will notify you of the date on which your Account will cease earning Cash Back.
